Colorado is also ranked in the top 10 of the wholesale sector in new businesses, new workers and payroll growth.

According to El Paso County housing industry experts, the continuing market growth combined with low interest rates saw a record-setting pace of new single-family home starts in 2004, up 22% over 2003.
